Ravenswood Family Health Network Cuts Ribbon on New Dental Clinic
Community leaders, healthcare providers and patients gathered on February 12, 2026, to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Ravenswood Family Health Network Dental Clinic in Redwood City.
The new clinic represents a major milestone in strengthening the local healthcare safety net and improving access to comprehensive dental services for un/underinsured individuals. The $6.5 million facility was made possible through a nearly $6 million investment by the Sequoia Healthcare District, which also provided the lease for the facility.
In response to the increasing demand for food assistance within our community, Sequoia Healthcare District (SHD) has awarded a supplemental grant of $850,000 to Second Harvest of Silicon Valley to allow for enhanced delivery infrastructure. This funding is in addition to the $700,000 SHD has already awarded for food purchases in fiscal year 2026.
The Sequoia Healthcare District Board has approved a $115,000 emergency grant in collaboration with Dignity/Sequoia funds for Peninsula Volunteers Inc. (PVI) Meals on Wheels. This funding will facilitate the delivery of nutritious meals primarily to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities within our service area.
