Sequoia Healthcare District is seeking to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors for Zone E. This interim position is crucial for guiding the District’s ongoing commitment to improving community health services in southern San Mateo County. The appointed director will serve until the next general election for District Zones A, C, and E, scheduled for November 2026. 

Eligible candidates must be registered voters residing within Zone E of the Sequoia Healthcare District boundaries and be experienced in healthcare and/or local community affairs. Residents can verify if they reside within Zone E by visiting locatemydistrict.com/map/seqhd and entering their home address. Interested individuals should submit:

• resume
• statement of interest
• acknowledgment of adherence to the District’s Conflict of Interest Policy and annual filing requirements. 

The Board intends to appoint a new director within 60 days following the effective date of the vacancy on March 5, 2026, ensuring a transparent and timely selection process. The appointment will be made no sooner than 15 days from the first announcement of this vacancy.
