NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR GENERAL CONTRACTOR  FOR THE 1016 LAUREL STREET INTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Please take notice that Sequoia Healthcare District (“SHD” or the “District”) is soliciting sealed bids for the selection of a general contractor by competitive bid for the following project: 

1016 LAUREL STREET INTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT 

This solicitation is subject to conditions prescribed by SHD as set forth in SHD’s bid documents.  SHD has determined that bidders who submit proposals on this project must meet the minimum level of qualifications.  Bidders will be required to have a Class B - General Building Contractor California contractor's license. The basis of award for this project will be based on the lowest responsive responsible bidder.  

 

General Description of Work 

This project involves interior improvements and limited exterior modifications to the District’s offices at 1016 Laurel Street, San Carlos, California.

• On February 24, 2026, no later than 2:00 p.m., sealed bids and qualification statements are due and will be opened publicly immediately thereafter BY Pamela Kurtzman, Chief Executive Officer, at SHD’s offices at the following address. Bids must be submitted via email or delivered to:

• On March 4, 2026, the bid award will be made at the SHD Board Meeting.

SHD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive non-material irregularities in any response or proposal received. 

 

The successful Bidder and its Subcontractors will be required to follow the nondiscrimination requirements set forth in the Contract Documents and to pay prevailing wage rates at the location of the work.
